Terms of service

The service

Studio Solos gives you online booking, a calendar, client records, forms, payments, gift cards, promo codes, a studio website and related tools. Some features rely on other services you connect, such as Square, Stripe, Google or social accounts, and those services' own terms apply to them.

Your account

• Keep access to your email account safe: sign-in links are sent there.
• You're responsible for what you and your team do in your studio's account.
• Tell us straight away at [privacy contact email] if you think someone else has got in. You can sign out of every device from Settings.

Your clients' data

• Your data stays yours. You can download all of it at any time (Settings → Your data).
• You decide what you collect from clients and why, and you're responsible for having the right to collect it, including any health information in your forms and any consents that requires.
• We process your clients' data on your behalf and only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.

Payments

• Card payments go through the payment processor you connect. Their terms apply, and they pay money out to you directly; we never hold your funds.
• Deposits, cancellation fees and refunds follow the policies you set. You're responsible for showing your policies to clients, and Studio Solos shows them at booking.
• We show a card payment as paid only when the processor confirms it.

Fair use

Don't use Studio Solos to break the law, send spam, harm other people, or try to get into other studios' data or our systems. We may suspend an account that does, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents us.

AI drafts

Website words, review replies and posts drafted by AI are suggestions. You review them before they're published and you're responsible for what you publish.

Availability

We work to keep Studio Solos running and publish its current state on our status page. The service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We keep regular encrypted backups and test that they restore.

Fees

During the pilot Studio Solos is free unless we agree otherwise in writing. We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before any charge starts, and you can leave before it does.

Leaving

You can stop using Studio Solos at any time. Download your data first, then email [privacy contact email] to close your account; we delete your studio's data within 30 days. We may end the service for your studio with 30 days' notice, or straight away for a serious breach of these terms.

Liability

Studio Solos is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes, law and contact

We'll tell you by email at least 30 days before a change to these terms that matters. These terms are governed by the laws of [State]. Questions: [privacy contact email], [Company postal address].
